Where can I download Meridian?
Meridian is preparing for its first public Mac App Store release. The Download button will become active when the app is available. There is no public download or purchase available on this site yet.
Which macOS version does Meridian need?
The current development build targets macOS 26. Final hardware and system requirements will be confirmed with the Mac App Store release.
Do I need an account to read the guides?
No. Quick starts, tutorials, and documentation are available without an account.
Why does my project say a source is missing?
Projects reference media files. If an original moves or a drive disconnects, reconnect it through Project Status or Manage Media using Locate Original. A similarly named file may contain different media.
Why does export need originals when proxies play correctly?
Viewer media selection and export quality are independent. An original-media export verifies the original sources, even when you edited with proxies.
Why are captions missing from my exported movie?
Check the selected track, language, visibility, and caption delivery mode. A subtitle sidecar is a separate file; it does not automatically appear in every player. Choose burn-in when captions must become part of the picture.
Does Meridian include 3D title authoring?
The current title workflow focuses on editable flat typography: cinematic titles, editorial text, lower thirds, chapter headings, and end credits. Experimental 3D authoring is retired.
Make a useful support report.
Include your Meridian build, macOS version, the steps that reproduce the problem, and the exact error message. Note whether it affects one source, one sequence, or every project.
Share a small, non-sensitive example when possible. Remove private paths and personal material from screenshots before sharing them.
