Where can I download Meridian?
Meridian is preparing for its first public Mac App Store release. The Download button will become active when the app is available. There is no public download or purchase available on this site yet.
Which Mac does Meridian need?
The current development build requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later. Check the Mac App Store compatibility listing when the public release becomes available. Media and speech support also depend on your source format and the selected language.
Why am I still subscribed after cancelling?
Turning off renewal keeps access until the current period ends. Settings → Subscription shows the verified access deadline and renewal state when Apple provides it. Refresh Access checks the current entitlement; Restore Purchases reconciles purchases for your Apple Account. Projects and completed exports remain on your device when access ends. Editing stays available on Mac, iPhone, and iPad; new exports need active access.
Can I explore Meridian without downloading demo footage?
On Mac, Help → Open Offline Sample opens a title-and-color project without external media. Load Demo Project offers the downloadable footage demo. On iPhone/iPad, choose Download Release Demo. Before a download, Meridian shows its size and recommends Wi-Fi; choose Download or Cancel. Verified downloaded files are reused, and downloaded projects remain available without a connection.
Do I need a Meridian account?
No Meridian account is required in the app or on this website. Quick starts, tutorials, and documentation are public. Apple handles subscription purchases through your Apple Account.
What does a subscription include?
A Meridian subscription includes unlimited exports, advanced AI editing, and priority customer support. Exports include video, audio, captions, and supported interchange files. AI editing on Mac requires your own API key; usage is billed separately and is not included in your subscription. Yearly, monthly, and weekly plans provide the same subscription benefits. Apple shows current prices, eligible trials, and renewal terms before purchase. Closing an offer does not start a trial.
Where are the iPhone and iPad instructions?
The manual has an iPhone and iPad section with touch quick starts, media import, precise timeline editing, captions, sound, color, delivery, and troubleshooting. Shared guides explain project transfer, recovery, and subscriptions.
Why does my project say a source is missing?
Projects reference media files. If an original moves or a drive disconnects, reconnect it through Project Status or Manage Media using Locate Original. A similarly named file may contain different media.
Why does export need originals when proxies play correctly?
Viewer media selection and export quality are independent. An original-media export verifies the original sources, even when you edited with proxies.
Why are captions missing from my exported movie?
Check the selected track, language, visibility, and caption delivery mode. A subtitle sidecar is a separate file; it does not automatically appear in every player. Choose burn-in when captions must become part of the picture.
What kinds of titles can I create?
Create editable cinematic titles, editorial text, lower thirds, chapter headings, and end credits. Adjust typography, placement, timing, and animation to fit your film.

Make a useful support report.
Include your Meridian version and build, macOS/iOS version, device or Mac model, the steps that reproduce the problem, and the exact error message. For subscription problems, include the plan and access deadline, but never send receipts, Apple Account passwords, payment details, or transaction tokens. Note whether it affects one source, one sequence, or every project.
Share a small, non-sensitive example when possible. Remove private paths and personal material from screenshots before sharing them.
